My name is Maria and I founded The Juris Tutor - an online tutoring service specifically for law students studying at Australian universities who feel they would benefit from some one-on-one guidance outside of a traditional classroom setting. My Story
The Juris Tutor was born out of my love for helping fellow law students during my time at The University of Sydney. It is a joy to be able to provide one-on-one assistance to students and to serve as a source of support and encouragement throughout their academic journey as someone who has previously been in their shoes. I have been teaching law since 2019 (initially as a tutor and later also as a lecturer) and have been a practicing lawyer since 2020. This allows me to bring both practical and academic insights to The Juris Tutor sessions.
